THE CIRCULAR LIFE OF EXHIBITION FURNITURE
Products used at trade fairs are reused across multiple exhibitions, showrooms, and events over the years. Eventually, they are either sold, integrated into our own showrooms, or displayed in resellers’ exhibitions.
For GDG’s trade fairs and showrooms, products from all brands within the group are utilized. When planning and designing these spaces, the selection is intentionally made with timeless colors and materials—ones that remain relevant over time and can be easily combined with other products. These products circulate through multiple fairs, showrooms, and events before eventually being sold, repurposed in our own showrooms, or placed in resellers’ exhibitions.
Another place where we are happy to see our reused products find a new home is in youth organizations, such as sports clubs. Products that do not find new applications are LOOPed, gaining a second life within the circular flow of exhibitions and trade shows. Construction materials from exhibitions are also saved and reused for multiple events. External materials such as flooring, paneling, and custom-designed furniture are refurbished and used again and again.
